Search123 is a pay-per-click search engine in which advertisers bid for placement in search results and pay only when targeted leads are delivered to their sites.
Advertisers can establish a Search123 account for as little as $25 and begin driving traffic immediately with $.01 minimum bids and no spending minimum. Publishers can become Search123 Traffic Partners and earn revenue from existing traffic by adding relevant, co-branded search results to their site and receiving payment within 30 days of the close of each month.
Launched in October, 2000 Search123 was among the first pay-per-click search engines. In June, 2003, the company was acquired by ValueClick, Inc., adding paid search to the suite of Web and e-mail marketing products offered by its US Media division.
