Nelson Minar

Google
Nelson joined Google in late 2001 as a software engineer and has worked on a number of projects including the Google Web APIs and Google AdWords. Prior to Google Nelson was the CTO and co-founder of Popular Power where he led the creation of a commercial distributed computing platform. Nelson studied distributed agents at the MIT Media Lab and worked on artificial life simulations at the Santa Fe Institute. He is interested in building systems that take advantage of the unique rules and behaviors of the Internet to create complex and powerful artifacts.
