Rich Pearson is Head of Direct & Online Marketing for Yahoo! Europe with overall responsibility for direct marketing efforts to maximise the subscriber and revenue growth of Yahoo!’s premium services across Europe, and in particular he will be responsible for driving the BT Yahoo! partnership. This role will also include responsibility for aligning US and European direct marketing efforts and leveraging opportunities across these markets.
Rich moved to this role in August 2003, following a promotion from Head of Premium Services Marketing for Yahoo! Inc. in the US. In his previous role, he developed marketing plans for new premium service products targeting consumers and small businesses and developed strategies to cross-sell marketing efforts across the Yahoo! network.
Rich was previously Vice President of Marketing for Homestead Technologies from 1999, where he developed and executed both online and offline direct marketing campaigns. He has over 10 years experience in marketing and product management roles, including positions at SegaSoft Networks Inc., and Del Monte Foods.
Rich has an MBA from Haas School of Business in 1998 and a B.S. in Business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
