Graham started working on SEO techniques in mid 1996 having recognised it's potential working in both Web design and his previous career as a offline media planner/buyer.
Graham's early experience of the Internet came whilst he was part of the innovative team at Britnet in 1995, where he worked on groundbreaking projects such as the Eurotunnel that is recognised as one of the UK's earliest web development companies. In May 1997, having identified the vast commercial opportunity surrounding any media that allows direct conversation between customer and company, as in Search Marketing, Graham founded Sitelynx. Today, the company is recognised as one of the founding Search Marketing organisations in the UK.
Graham has built a formidable reputation as a leading authority on the use, relevance and future direction of search marketing technology, reach and strategy and today sits on a number of influential panels and boards that are responsible for moving the industry forward. These bodies include: SEMPO, SMA-UK, national and local government bodies including Greenwich Enterprise Board.
In 2005, Sitelynx was reported as one of the top 5 search specialist in the industry and now runs an impressive client portfolio that spans the financial services, health and leisure industries. Graham's strategic input and market guidance has enabled his clients to maximise on the commercial benefits of search. His philosophy that search engines are the new audience focussed utility of the twenty first century has enabled his accounts to accomplish swift return on investment.
As a recognised leading spokesperson in this arena, Graham is constantly asked to review and identify the next stages in the development of the Search industry and gives regular talks on both forward thinking ideology of the industry and the wider implications of this space, such as which platforms will be embracing Search in the near future.
He lives in Shoreditch, London with his wife, who are learning how to sail in case the rain doesn't stop on day ;-)
