John Simpson is responsible for the marketing strategy and campaign
development for the WebTrends branded products of NetIQ. He joined
WebTrends in 1999 as the Online Marketing Manager and spearheaded their
success using online advertising as an effective medium for lead generation
programs by leveraging web analytics to increase ROI -- specifically,
increasing total leads by 100% and increasing conversion rates by 150%.
Prior to joining WebTrends, John worked on branding within Corporate
Marketing at Microsoft Corporation.
