Wilson co–founded WilsonRusch, later Wilson RMS, in 2001 by integrating technical, analytical, marketing and creative professionals. Wilson RMS employs the concept of "Informed Creativity" – creativity bolstered by analytical strategies steeped in deep audience understanding, continual program testing and measurement, data management technology and multichannel customer analysis – to drive successful campaigns for clients such as AOL, Wells Fargo, Intuit, Bayer, and The Home Depot. Prior to forming Wilson RMS, Wilson built his knowledge of strategy development and creative service delivery in a variety of management positions for offline and online direct marketing agencies.
