David has 18 years of marketing experience with a wide range of emerging technologies and software products and services. Prior to Goodmail, David was vice president of enterprise products for Connectix Corporation, where he launched the company's Virtual Server product up through acquisition by Microsoft. As executive vice president for home networking pioneer Alation Systems (now part of Cypress Semiconductor) he led marketing and business development for the company's wireless home networking products. David worked ten years in the email software industry, most recently as vice president of marketing for Worldtalk Corporation, later acquired by Tumbleweed Communications. There he launched the company's NT-based line of email gateway and directory synchronization products and negotiated an OEM partnership with Microsoft for Worldtalk's SMTP gateway for Microsoft Mail. He managed reseller sales for BeyondMail, served as IDC's senior analyst for electronic mail, and worked in product marketing on Lotus Notes. He is a 1987 graduate of Tufts University.
