Mark E. Young is PARTNERS+simons' Communications Counsel and he co-directs
the marketing firm's Professional Services Practice. Mr. Young has a deep
understanding of the professional services marketplace, having been immersed
in it for the last 17 years. At PARTNERS+simons, he provides strategic counsel to
professional services firms in the legal, commercial real estate, and
insurance industries. He also serves as the firm's general counsel. Prior to joining
PARTNERS+simons, Mr. Young practiced law for fifteen years at the
Boston-based firm of Peabody & Arnold. As a partner at the law firm and
co-chair of the Intellectual Property/Tech Law Group, he specialized in advertising,
intellectual property and privacy law and maintained an active trial
practice. Mr. Young's clients included national and international consumer products
companies, communications and media companies, banks, financial services firms,
manufacturers, and a full range of technology companies. Mr. Young also
served as one of the firm's marketing partners.
Mr. Young is a member of the American Bar Association and Boston Bar
Association. He serves on the Boards of WGBH/Corporate Executive Council,
the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University and SatelLife.
A Boston native, Mr. Young received a J.D. from Boston College Law School
and a B.A. in Political Science from Bates College. He is admitted to the bars of
the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the First and Federal Circuits and the United
States Supreme Court.
