Yuval H. Marcus is a partner with the intellectual property law firm Leason Ellis LLP, where he specializes in litigating all types of intellectual property disputes, including copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent and trade secret matters. His experience includes obtaining injunctive relief against infringers; defeating motions for injunctive relief; prosecuting and defending copyright, trademark, trade dress and patent infringement claims; conducting domain name dispute proceedings; and commencing and defending trademark oppositions and cancellations. With the perspective of a seasoned litigator, he also counsels clients on how to utilize effective IP strategies to strengthen IP rights in advance of litigation and/or to minimize the risk of litigation.

He is a Co-Chair of the Intellectual Property, Computer and Telecommunications Law Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association and a Co-chair of the Intellectual Property Committee of the Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (WESFACCA). He has lectured and published articles on many intellectual property topics, including trademark infringement liability for purchasing trademarked keywords.

He has represented clients from many different fields, including the technology, software, publishing, entertainment, restaurant, hotel, apparel, toy, jewelry, luxury goods, furniture, cosmetics and consumer goods industries.
