Vice President and General Manager, Advertising Technology
As vice president and general manager of Yahoo!'s Advertising Technology business, Josh Jacobs is responsible for setting Yahoo!'s advertising technology strategy and for driving the operations supporting the company's advertising business and its hundreds of ad network, agency, publisher, and advertising partners. In overseeing the Right Media Exchange business, Jacobs is responsible for the growth and health of the industry's largest exchange marketplace, and for driving Yahoo!'s vision of a vibrant and open marketplace for digital advertising.
Prior to this role, Jacobs led strategy, operations, and marketing for the Yahoo! Publisher Network. He played a key role in establishing Yahoo! as the partner of choice for publishers by building a network of premium partners and comprehensive display, search and retargeting advertising solutions. Additionally, he led the efforts to deliver the first solutions that opened up the network to cross-selling partnerships based on behavioral targeting.
