Jen was born in Dorset and graduated from Bournemouth University with a degree in information systems management. She embarked on a marketing career within the IT and telecom industry, including the marketing of VoIP and unified messaging, at a startup organisation, Business Systems Ltd. She then held the position of U.K. and Ireland manager for Netgear. Jen has always been drawn to search marketing and its ability to capture the prospective customer at the point of preference and accurately measure the resulting cost per acquisition. With her expertise in online marketing, particularly SEO and SEM, Jen joined WebTrends in 2007.
