Founder and CEO
Nan Dawkins is the founder and CEO of Serengeti Communications, a Washington, DC based consulting firm that equips organizations with the data, insights, tools and skills required to create and sustain high ROI digital marketing programs. Serengeti serves clients in a wide range of industry verticals, including consumer products, associations, higher education, media and publishing, health, travel, and financial services.
Nan has over 25 years of communications experience, beginning at J. WalterThompson/Washington where she worked on the national advertising campaigns of retail and consumer products accounts such as Burger King and Ford Motor Company. In the 1980's she launched a conventional ad agency in Washington, D.C. specializing in the automotive sector and later founded the search marketing firm, RedBoots.
Nan holds a degree in Journalism from the University of Oklahoma and a Masters from George Washington University. She is an avid gardener and a recovering Ironman triathlete.
