Michael Ferguson

Michael leads research for Ask.com into how users seek, acquire, and act on information. Combining multiple methodologies - from eyetracking to ethnography - he informs product development with user context and design recommendations. Michael has analyzed search user behavior since 1995.

Before joining Ask, Michael ran an interactive design agency with clients that included Oracle and Stanford's Graduate School of Business, as well as independent film makers and film festivals.

Michael holds a B.A. in British and American Literature from New College of Florida.
